I am 61 years old and have been happily married for 38 years. My husband and I raised five adopted children, and we are now blessed with three grandchildren, with one more on the way. Family is very important to me, and caring for others has always been a central part of my life. I am a dependable and reliable worker with a warm personality and a patient, tolerant nature. I truly love working with older adults and find great fulfillment in providing compassionate, attentive care. For the last four years of my mother's life, she lived with me as she battled dementia. I considered it both a blessing and an honor to care for her during that time.
